Model Highlights
The Jeep Renegade is offered with a choice between two 4-cylinder engines. A 1.3L turbocharged four makes 177 horsepower and 210 pound-feet of torque. It is standard on the Renegade Limited and Trailhawk and optional on the Sport and Latitude trims. The other engine in the lineup is the 2.4L Tigershark engine, rated at 180 hp and 175 lb-ft. It comes standard on Sport, Latitude, and Altitude models. Both engines send power to the wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, and 4-wheel drive is an option on most trim levels, though the Trailhawk trim includes it as standard equipment. The 2021 Jeep Renegade is available in five distinct trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. The Sport is the most value-oriented of the trim levels, costing less than the Latitude, this trim level comes standard with the 2.4-liter engine, front-wheel drive, cloth upholstery, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, Uconnect with Bluetooth phone connectivity, a six-speaker audio system, a USB port, cruise control and push-button start. The Latitude trim adds a little bit of luxury and style to the Renegade, body-colored mirror caps, premium cloth, ambient lighting, an additional USB port, configurable gauge, and security system. The Limited focuses on turning the Renegade into a compact luxury SUV. This trim includes the turbocharged 1.3-liter engine, leather upholstery, heated front seats, power-adjustable driver's seat, a 40/20/40 split-folding rear seat, HD radio, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment, voice-activated navigation, AC power outlet, Keyless Enter ?n Go, heated steering wheel, supplemental heater and remote start. The Jeep Renegade standard safety features incudes Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection and Cross Path Detection. Finally, standard options for the off-road-oriented Trailhawk include Jeep's Selec-Terrain system, an increased ride height, skid plates, all-terrain tires, tow hooks, and full-time four-wheel drive with low range.
